The Luau Photos
I confess that I went to the Luau without so much as a handbag. I didn't take my camera. But it was partly because I knew my friend Veronica, the professional photographer, would be there with her camera and that she would be nice enough to take a lot of good pictures and let me post them on my blog. So I carried sunglasses. Here are her pictures. I have yet to figure out how to caption so they come out remotely near the photos they caption. So the people pictures include us, local friends Jonathan and Missi, Joel and Veronica (Mike and Joel went to law school together) from California, a couple from Texas we met there, and Jeff, the "9th wheel" as he described himself. Jeff felt like someone we knew from somewhere and couldn't put a finger on it. And to start it off, here we are, appropriately, at the back of the bus.

Sounds like you guys had a really awesome time. When we went to Kauai one of my favorite parts was the Luau and all the hula dancing. Kevin was skeptical, thinking it would be really touristy, but he ended up loving it as well. I can't wait to go back ... Wonderful, relaxing place!
