It isn't technically summer yet but summer is previewing in the Northwest right now and the weekend was gorgeous.
I decided to go to a few garage sales. The first one I went to was a jackpot (you just never know) and I came away with more than 75 nice items, some with tags, for Kyri for less than $40. She has most of her wardrobe for the next three years, including coats. I managed to find myself a new (with tags) maternity top for fall and Mike a new looking Seahawks t-shirt. I even found a few shirts for Ben. Overall, I estimated we saved more than $600.
Sunday, we headed to the zoo after church. It was the last day of our annual membership and we wanted to take advantage of it. It was a lovely day but we were all pretty tired by the time we left. Ben and Kyri were both asleep by the time we arrived home. I quickly followed.
I love summer weekends.
