- Yelling is NOT an effective form of communication. You might think you are being heard that way, but you aren't. Speaker volume and listener comprehension/cooperation don't rise simultaneously.
- They might sound happy and angelic, but if you don't have them in sight you don't know that. (Especially the "angelic" part.) I have a major sand cleaning project today.
- Exhaustion affects everyone. It is possible that I might feel like a better parent after a good night's sleep. And my son might be a different child in the morning. (He was.)
