I have four states left to visit before I can say I've been to all 50. I'm not terribly concerned about Alabama, Louisiana, and North Dakota (sorry, to all residents/natives who are mortally offended that I don't prioritize those places) but Hawaii is a little higher on the priority list.
Today Mike found out he's been accepted to attend a litigation seminar in Maui in early summer. His expenses are all paid. And there is NO WAY he is going without me.

Is this the seminar ADF is putting on?
Boy, are your kids going to be globe trotters or what!!

I think it's awesome you're getting to go and just the two of you too! It's going to be like a second honeymoon... in a way. Hawaii is AWESOME! You'd better step up and get some pictures since B won't be able to go.
The kids will not be making this trek.... Conveniently, this comes at a time when they are old enough for their parents to go by themselves. And my vow is that they will only get on a plane once a year and that has happened in 2009.
DJ-yes, it is.
hurRAY!! I'm so happy for you!
I've only been to Kauai but it was seriously the most awesome place I've ever been. Looks like 2009 will be an exciting year! :)
I'm so bummed - because of my work schedule, I could not even consider applying for this ADF Litigation Academy (though I was seriously tempted). Have fun!
