Yes, we do have a foot of snow and it is still falling. Even my husband from western New York says it is crazy to go out there right now. It warmed up enough today to melt a little and of course, tonight we are dipping down into the 20s again and so there will be more ice.
Church was cancelled today leaving me with 4 dozen cookies I had baked for everyone.
The amazing thing for us in the Northwest is that it isn't supposed to let up or melt and rain until after Christmas sometime. It is so beautiful though and M made it out to the store for a few more things today.

Yes, a white Christmas will be beautiful.
Sandwiches and soup for Christmas dinner will be interesting since we can't get to the store. But at least we again have power and the furnace is finally working after 4 days out. We're trying to count our blessings instead of whining but in Portland, this is crazy!
