M took Ben to his sports class last night. When he came home he told me about playing "basketball" and doing "red light, green light." M says Ben is not so good at "hearing" directions but he quickly picks up what everyone is doing and follows along. We are well-aware of his listening disabilities and the sports class will hopefully help with that.
Ben brought home a schedule for the rest of the class and today he wanted to know if it was Oct. 14 yet? He says he is ready for soccer. He ate lunch reading his hand-out today and telling me on what day he will be trying what sport.
Meanwhile, we had our "school" time during Kyri's nap today. He worked on rhyming words and then read some poetry together. Ben delights in any activities we do. We do a max of an hour a day (usually 20 minutes) and that is plenty for a preschooler. It keeps him hungry for learning rather than burning him out.
