Kyri was taking her milk last night in the rocking chair when Ben came up and gently began rubbing her and said, "I love her." He had been such a wicked child all day long and I wanted to put him down and forget about him for hours until he said that. My heart was already melting when he added, "And I love you Mommy." Instant thaw. A pause. "And you love me too." I think he knew it was the kind of day where I might need a reminder.

YES!! This is how Meredith has been lately--from utterly "wicked" to SO incredibly loving and sweet. ARGH!!! Isn't it incredible how kids can play at ALL our emotions?!
