M is away from home and thus chaos has ensued in our home. The kids were bathed and jammied. One was nursed, had her two stories, prayer and put to bed. I was reading to the other while listening to her scream and cry for 30 minutes. After the teeth were brushed, bedtime prayers and devotions, I went to check on her. She was buck naked.
Now Ben was 4 before it occurred to him that he could remove his clothing. Personal care has never been his priority and he figured I would always be there to help him dress, undress, etc.... Kyri on the other hand already has opinions on what clothes (particularly her shoes) she wants to wear. She has undressed before. But not when she is supposed to be sleeping.
But there were her pjs and her diaper in a little pile below her bed. All I have to say is the naked protest business better end before puberty. I have no desire to see my daughter on television protesting in the buff.

If it makes you feel better, my hubby and one of his sisters were also little naked protesters in their toddlerhood. :) They grew out of it.
