Einstein's Mom

from the mom

I'm always appreciative of those moms who come up with, "Oh Einstein (or Edison or ?) didn't do that until he was nearly 4." Whenever Ben has been behind the curve, someone has popped up with the name of a remarkable genius who was slow to walk, talk, etc....

My comfort in life is that years from now, young mothers will be comforted with: "Bennett R__ read before his mother could potty train him. She tried everything in the book and he was solving equations and speaking foreign languages. But would not potty train." And I will go down in history with Edison's mother, Einstein's mother, and others as a mother to a genius who brought her great frustration followed by great glory. HA!
