from the mom
I have tried most of the things this woman does to potty train my son. The only thing I don't have access to is 4 other tots to line up with him and provide some peer pressure.
He watched this clip with much interest and answered "no" when I asked if he wanted this lady to potty train him. I am thinking of fundraising to send the child to Chicago for a few days.
Thanks to DNC for the clip. And to my mom for telling me if I get Ben potty-trained, any other child will be a walk in the park. And to my husband for letting me leave the house for hours last night to decompress.

You certainly have my sympathy. Now that D1 is finally trained I don't want to Ever. Potty. Train. Anyone. Again. And she at least worked with me some of the time.
Still praying for you and Ben! (Hugs.)
I am just now catching up on blogs after not have read any for a few weeks and I just got through reading one of my other favorites. The writer was talking about potty training their daughter, and your post brought me back to the one I just read. I'll share my favorite quote from it with you since it made me laugh...
"Why does everyone freak out about potty training? Do you have any adult friends who 'just never quite got the hang of it'?"
Written by a man. Obviously. But he DOES do most of the parenting since he works from home. Hopefully that brought a smile to your face!
