Ben took a turn for the worse yesterday and he asked to go the hospital several times. We took him to the doctor and we are on a new round of medicines. His breathing was dangerously labored until about midnight and then he slept. Today he is still very sick but he managed to walk up the stairs. That's an improvement.
Kyri and M joined the "unwell." Kyri has the barking seal cough and a fever. Fortunately she is tough and not asthmatic and despite getting up with her a lot in the night, she'll be ok. M is probably mainly tired. He has reason.
This morning I am thankful for:
-sunshine (it is gorgeous here today)
-a bloom on a flowering plant Lindsay gave me a year and a half ago
-no one has cried in over two hours
-friends who care

R:what a great way to look at life: to see beauty and be thankful when your corner of the world isn't doing so great. I hope Ben, Kyri and M get well soon. Take care of yourself!
