Tossing My Cookies

from Kyri

If you made the mistake of thinking "tossing your cookies" was a fun thing to do, take it from me: It's not. I did it for 24 hours this weekend and it was not a nice thing. It was accompanied by other not nice things. Fortunately my grammy and grandpa were with me and so I always had someone to hold me. I really wanted Mommy most but sometimes I was too tired to object when she passed me to someone else.

We were staying at a strange place and I didn't have my bed. I didn't like that but at least I didn't have to be in it much (especially after they had to wash the sheets and my pjs three times). There was beautiful water and we watched the snow. Ben called it a "hotel house." He thought it was great despite having really big puffy eyes and having to take Benadryl the whole weekend. (Allergies!)

Sunday morning I felt much better. Then we had to get in the car and drive forever. Fortunately, Uncle Mark was with us for awhile and so Mom had to sit next to me and read to me. And then we got out at this place with cows and I ran around in the sunshine for a bit.

We went to Lincoln City for the weekend and stayed in a teeny-tiny vacation rental with my family. Ben was allergic to something and Kyri had the 24-hour stomach flu. Other than that, we had a fabulous time!
