Warming Up

from the mom

We had guests over the other night for Bible study. I mentioned how cold it was (outside) and Dale responded: "But its warm in here." I thought he was being polite and marking the contrast, nothing more. I had spent 30 minutes locked outside the house without a coat in 30 degree weather and had failed to warm up all day. After the guests departed, I began to realize that I was now quite warm. I checked the heat regulator and discovered that someone (who goes by Ben) had turned it up to 90. Dale was probably frying in his warm sweater.

And then I started to wonder about all those times I've found it at 79 or 60 and thought M must have wondered down in the night and adjusted it in the dark. Perhaps someone else has been doing it all along.

Rachelle,

I think you can get covers for thermostats that will (hopefully) keep little fingers from adjusting it. Good luck.

It's pretty cold outside here too- we are getting snow- in GEORGIA :)
