from the mom
Our car is dying a sad and fast death. The transmission is going and it is not worth it to keep paying for repairs. I started adding up what we've put into it this year and stopped. Far too depressing. We are in need of a "family car" and for the first time in both of our lives will be taking out a loan. Any tips on SUVs or sedans from the early 2000s?
Kyri falls apart if I leave the room to switch laundry or work on household chores. I am getting nothing done. She is sick so I know that is part of it. This morning I opened my email about my "1-year old" and learned that this is the peak of separation anxiety. Ah. So I need to just hang in there.

We have a Ford Explorer 4-door Sport Trac from 2003 that we love. We haven't had any problems with it. There is plenty of car seat room in the back seat. Vehix.com is a good place to check out used cars too and I think you can get a 30-day free trial.
