Recently M has established some routines for Ben at bedtime. He typically tucks him into bed and reads him a Bible story and they sometimes sing together the Kyrie, and pray.
We were driving together a few days ago and the Kyrie came on the CD player. I distinctly heard a little voice singing, "Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy." M confirmed that Ben does indeed sing the beautiful prayer. Tonight again as we were driving home from a trip to Portland, I heard his little voice singing, perfectly in tune. Such sweet music to our ears.

Hurray for bedtime routines! I can remember Dad praying for us each night until I left home after high school, and now I do it with my kids.

How fun to hear Ben singing! And pretty cool he can sing in tune. Our kids sing all the time, and only occasionally stumble upon the tune.
