from the mom
I asked for a sick day today.
One employer said, "Ok," before he left for work.
Another indicated: "Just give me breakfast and the remote control and you can have the rest of the day off. Unless I need something."
The other smiled: "Feeding and changing me isn't real work."
In all my other jobs, I've been expendable, replaceable. At least with this one, I'm not.
This month's REDBOOK quotes Julie Morgenstern who states that the job of a stay-at-home mom is worth at least $100,000 a year. Then she gets funny and says that is $40 an hour if you work 50 hours per work for 52 weeks. I put in the 52 weeks but I'm way over 50 hours a week. Can I get overtime?

lol...and what about a bonus or two? ;-)
I'm gonna have to tell my husband how much I "should" be making once I become a stay at home mom. Hee, hee...and I will expect a bonus or two:)
Hope you feel better soon!
If I remember correctly (and I do) you were never expendable or replaceable!!!
You deserve a bonus (or some special treat). Take care and get well soon.
