from the mom
Kyrie made her grand appearance at M's company Christmas party last night. She thoughtfully slept while her mom ate dinner and woke demanding to be fed before she could succumb to the temptations of dessert. I'm sure she was thinking of my figure.
We had a delightful time and all was well until we went to leave. Then we discovered that someone had backed into our car and not left a note. Most disturbing is that only staff, volunteers, and board members were there. The exception is the caterers whom M happened to watch leave as he took a quick walk on the balcony. I thought perhaps someone would come forward today but nothing yet. For a place that advocates personal responsibility, that's rather disappointing.
At home, I became engrossed in an interesting Christmas letter until I saw smoke billowing from the microwave where I had been making popcorn. The house still smells like burnt popcorn. It was a good letter.

Remember the time Mr. Hall gave the WM company what for because they either backed into M's car and didn't report it or didn't pick up our trash which would be a violation of their contract and cost them lots of moolah? Maybe you should have him step in...hehehe.
Not that this makes it any better for you, but is it possible they didn't know they backed into you? Especially considering the age of some of the volunteers. ;-) I know I've sometimes collided with cars and not realized it until someone told me.
JR-I have often wished to have Mr. Hall on the case the last several days. We ended up with a profit on that one.
QofC-That was M's first thought. However, the hit was hard enough that we suspect that there was paint and/or damage to their vehicle. (We drive a Volvo which is solid steel and it crunched in the whole front panel so we could barely get the door open.) If you didn't realize that the bump you felt was a car, you should have noticed the next morning.
Well, since he's there and you're here, just ask yourself, "what would Mr. Hall do?" I'm thinking of branding that question myself...hehehe.
I love it! Sorry I can't send the sweet man to you to solve this case but he is very much needed here :) I know he would do whatever he could for you though! Merry Christmas! The Halls
