It was a rough weekend in sports in our household. After last Sunday's win over the Rams, the Seahawks looked good. And then a stupid injury took Matt Hasselback out of commission for the next four weeks. The Super Bowl is looking elusive at this point.
It gave me cause to ponder how sports is like life. Sometimes you think you have the perfect team (family, church, job, etc...) only to have a crippling injury change everything. Whether it is illness, family difficulties, a church split or your brakes go out when you think you might actually have your finances together, life is unpredictable.
Then it becomes about how you handle life's "injuries." Go Seahawks!
