Dear Baby

Dear Baby,

First of all I love you and we're all very excited to meet you. I can feel you getting anxious in there and I know you are running out of space.

You've been worried about all the crying. That's your brother and he's had a really rough few days. Whenever he gets a cold, he gets asthma symptoms and has trouble breathing and it really scares him (and us). He normally doesn't cry a lot and you shouldn't worry. I hope for your sake you get your dad's lungs and not your mom's and you don't have to experience the same thing.

I know you are confused because I had told you to be sure and come out early and now I've changed my mind. I think it would be easier on you and your brother if he were well first. And I have bronchitis right now. That and not a decent night of sleep since Tuesday might make it hard for me to be as strong as I need to be to get you out. Your dad has been overly tired too taking care of all of us. Right now you are safe and warm and not exposed to all these germs. Could you hang out awhile longer?

The cradle is all ready and our bags are packed and we're excited to meet you and give you a name. We love you!

Love,

Mama

P.S. Could you pull your foot down just a little bit? It hurts when you stick it up my breastbone. Thanks!
