from Ben's mom
Thanks for all the birthday greetings. I had three ecards, 8 paper cards, and my phone rang off the hook yesterday with calls from California, Tennessee, Oregon, and Illinois.
Life has been so busy lately I haven't had time to blog about it. Isn't it sad that you have time to write when you have nothing to say and when your life gets interesting, there's no time to document it? It sure is helping the last trimester to fly by.
I had a minor panic attack in the car Sunday night as we drove home after the game and dinner and started rattling off things for M and I to do. He responded with "Oh-oh, you're nesting!" I guess I am because I'm obsessed with the locations of the cradle and the rocking chair and I cannot rest until they are moved to more convenient spots. Suddenly the house looks filthy and everything seems out of place. Of course, my mother-in-law arrives Friday which could have something to do with it too.
Everything is good with the pregnancy. I'm big, but more comfortable and sleeping better than I did at this stage with Ben. I'm carrying like a basketball too.... which has some people thinking it must be a boy. (Never mind that I had a huge spread with Ben.)
There are still lots of interesting things to say about our trip east, so I will continue my travelogue when I have time. Hopefully it won't be TOO outdated.

I "nested" for an entire week before Daphne arrived, and that's not counting minor outbreaks earlier in the month. It's definitely a survival instinct. Otherwise you'd never get done everything you need to before the baby arrives.
Glad you're feeling pretty good.
