A Weekend With Family

Grammy, Grandpa, and Uncle Mark came for a visit for a few days. We did so many things and I barely had a nap.

We went places and I got stuck in the very back of the car where I couldn't see anyone. I didn't like that so much but sometimes people in the cars behind us would smile and wave and that helped.

We took the ferry boat to Seattle and had dinner to celebrate Uncle Mark's approaching 30th birthday! And then yesterday we went to Mt. Rainier. We did a lot of hiking and I thought that was pretty fun. There were a lot of good places to throw rocks and I had a great time.

Uncle Mark would like to point out that "30" in modern society is quite young. In fact, in another fifteen years, Uncle Mark will probably be challenging Ben to endure basketball games, tennis matches, and long hikes.

This is not necessarily saying that Uncle Mark is in good shape. However, being young is mostly in the mind (which is why your mother stills talks to me like I'm a child).

Hi Ben, I loved the picture of you all. I've never met you but I love your grandma and grandpa and I'm glad you get to spend time with them. And I'm sure Uncle Mark is someone you could grow up to be like.
God bless and keep you, your Mom and Dad and keep you safe and healthy. I wanted to tell you that I always pray for your friend Addie. blessings, mary jo

Hi Rachelle and Ben. Loved the photo of you all at Mt. Rainier. I guess it was at Reflection Lake. We were there with all our family a week earlier. The weather was wonderful and the hiking was great. Is Ben expecting a sibling?
