from Ben's mom
My morning got off to quite a start. I woke up several times early, surprised that Ben had not woken up. M and I talked about this before he went to work. But I took it as a gift and decided to sleep in. Shortly after 9, I woke up worried that I hadn't heard Ben. I went in to his room and found he was not in bed. I found him on the living room floor watching a DVD. His dad had gotten him up and been so quiet, that even though I was awake at the time, I hadn't heard them. M reports that Ben wanted out of bed but then didn't want to sit but wanted his blanket on the living room floor. I found him there an hour and a half later in a semi-awake state. I knew something was up.
Ben always wakes me up within half an hour of his dad leaving. And breakfast is a big priority in the morning. So I carried him to our bed and watched him as his eyes opened and closed and he stared off into space. I was getting pretty worried. About 5 minutes later, he proceeded to throw up over me, him, the bed. He's never done that before so he was extremely worried and I was trying to calm him through the process and then clean him up.
So we have our first stomach flu and I have a completely compliant child, a complete turnaround from yesterday. I wish it were in another form.

Poor Boy & Poor Mama! I just prayed for healing, and that neither you nor M will get it!
They never said being 2 was boring! Praying for Ben, his Mom and his Dad.
