A Visit From Madison
Yesterday, I was barely out of bed when Madison came to our house. Mom said we were going to play together. I showed her all my good toys and tried to impress her by showing her how good I am at throwing things. I also showed her that I know how to put my Legos together. We played pretty hard and Mom said we needed naps. I disagreed but I must have been tired, because I slept for a long time. I had a great time playing with her and Mom told her Mom she could come again. I also heard Mom tell her Mom that she hoped her vocabulary would have some influence over me. What? Does that have anything to do with Mom saying all day, "See Ben, Madison uses words." Yah, but I don't need to. Mom always know what I want.

Ben, my boy, you are so articulate you are probably just waiting to speak in complete sentences when your mental dictionary is complete. I mean, why waste time trying to say it and get it wrong when you can just wait and say it right the first time? That's what I did. So tell your mom to count her blessings because the day's gonna come when you're going to have too much to say and she'll ask you to be quiet and you'll tell her, "But Mom, I have words in my mouth!" ;-)
