To the ER

Tonight Mom and Dad took me in for some torture stuff. But now I feel better. So maybe it wasn't SOOO bad. As long as I never have to do it again. I have been hurting pretty bad and Mom and Dad kept asking me stupid questions like "does your throat hurt? does your ear hurt? does your head hurt?" I don't even know the names of the things that hurt. It just hurts inside.

Tonight they did horrible things...stick things down my nose, stick things up my bottom, and take pictures (or so Mom says). I had things hanging from my toe and stuff around my mouth. Then I started feeling better and I wanted to go home and it took forever. I started thinking about my toys and how I missed them and I wanted something to eat. (Mom gave me crackers and cookies and my toy trucks but it wasn't the same.)

Mom says we won't know everything until we have test results tomorrow, but they think I have something called bronchiolitis. But it is fuzzy.... They really don't know. What they do know is that I have a rare thing called pneumomediastinum. It means I have air leaking out of my lungs. Which is why it hurts inside. Because the air pushes against all my insides. Usually swimmers get this disease and you get it from holding your breath. Mom and Dad have asked me for an explanation. Hey, I'm a kid. I might have tried to hold my breath for awhile.

Well, I'm home now and I practiced my drums, read a book, watched a few minutes of a DVD and made sure the CD player in the living room still worked. I ran all around the house to see if there was anything new and then realized how tired I am. Mom says she is taking me to bed.

And she did. And he is resting.

Yup - we're praying too. And for Addie!!! Everytime you come to mind (which is rather often of late!) Ben, you are turning into a very scary little boy!! ;)

So what do they do about something like that?
