The News

from Ben's mom

Though I can't find the updated information, I believe it is the 45th day of rain in the last 48 days for us. We are getting a new window as a result of the damage done from the driving rain and wind to the old one. Ben and I have started to sneak out more when it lets up, because we'll go stir-crazy in the house.

Mark flew a red-eye to the state of Michigan last night. He is poised to sit next to the high bidder, a CPA from Pittsburgh. They both think they can be mature....

I have sworn off selling on Ebay forever. Though I did appreciate the call from Paypal to ascertain that I was indeed selling a Superbowl ticket and someone hadn't hacked into my account, the fees (Ebay and Paypal) really cut into any chance Mark had of breaking even on the deal. On top of it, Paypal won't let me withdraw more than $500 a month, so Mark will get the last of his money in, oh May. For two days I was fielding emails from pitiful fans wanting to break all the Ebay rules and hand over cash for that ticket.

Seattle is not a hysterical town.... But there is a lot of pride here over this team and we are ready to cheer. Go Hawks!

The picture you posted is scary. I hate heights, and it gives me the willies :)

Last night, Sara and I were watching a movie. She had to close her eyes when the main subject was being, um, physically interrogated. I, on the other hand, had to look away when the main subject was climbing up a building and the camera angle showed the steep drop below her. It freaked me out.

I am so glad M was able to unload the ticket. So is this CPA a woman by any chance? ;-) yes, right now I'm a little sick of ebay...

Ben is disappointed that after faithfully cheering for the Patriots, his godfather has turned against his team. :(

No, the CPA is very male.

DJ-We will leave you at the bottom of the Space Needle to watch little ones when you trek west to visit.
