My Oompa

from Ben's mom

We recently received a Christmas letter from my Opa and Oma. At 91, they enlisted my aunt to help them send their letter so they could stay in touch with friends. Enclosed with the letter was a news article about activities happening at their retirement center. At the bottom was a picture of my Oompa with another male resident wearing long red-haired ringlet wigs. The caption states that they dressed up as "sisters for Halloween 2005 and received plenty of laughs." They are both grinning from ear-to-ear. Opa added a note to me that says "I should have had a ribbon in that flaming red hair. Maybe worn a sun suit or a bikinni (sic)." We had a good laugh and I gave thanks for my Opa, who continues to make people laugh into his 90's.
