Boring Mom

I have realized lately how boring Mom is. I hated to complain but I finally had to put my foot down. So I started going to the door and banging on it, waving "bye-bye" to her, and yesterday, when nothing else worked, I decided to put on my own shoes. (It is harder than it looks.) "Mom, we have to do something, or I may die of boredom."

Today she promised adventure. I took an early nap and we were off. We went to a few garage sales and I waited in the car, listening to music and watching Mom. She came back very excited and told me that she may have solved our problem. Whew!

When we picked up Dad I heard them talking about my new sandbox. Hmm... That sounds interesting. We went to the store and bought some play sand and came home. Dad set everything up and then out came the camera. "Ben, come look at your sandbox."

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Wow! Finally my own spot to play in. I have a giant turtle sandbox with a bucket, a sand sifter, and a dump truck. I got completely filthy and Mom said it was ok. "We'll take a bath tonight Ben." I even forget how hungry my tummy was and I didn't hear Mom when she told me to come in for dinner. Dad had to come and get me and then I ate as fast as I could, so I could hurry back out and play.

Mom and Dad took pictures and movies so you'll get to see my cool sandbox too.
