We were enjoying Sunday afternoon together when the phone rang. Usually when this happens Mom will say to Dad, "Could you get that?" And Dad will complain, "Why me?" And Mom will make up some excuse like: "I am going to change the toilet paper roll." I offer it to get it and promptly hang up but they ignore me. But....
Dad did answer it and then he shut Mom and I in the bedroom. After awhile he came in stunned and said, "That was CBS Radio News calling for an interview. How on earth did they get my home number?" Mom said she doesn't mind Dad being famous. Just not on Sundays.
