Oh, yes, our big trip. Mom and Dad took me around Leesburg and said things like, "Oh, Ben, there is the apartment Mom and Dad first brought you home too" and "Oh Ben, Dad and Mom used to walk to this coffee shop." There were lots of "oh Ben's"--you get the picture.
We met so many people who gave me hugs and kisses. I wasn't sure I knew them but Mom and Dad would assure me I did. I guess I slept through a lot of introductions when I was little.
I didn't feel too well on our trip and one night I coughed so hard, I lost all my dinner. I learned that dads are the smart people who go find something to clean up with and moms are the ones who get thrown up on. Mrs. Sarah was nice to say she would still let me come back to her house next time, even after that.
One night I went to see my godparents. It was nice to see Stuart and Addie and especially nice to see Miss Dana. She is gorgeous and Mom says that I shamelessly flirted with her. Dad reminded me about Mr. Brooks --that he was my friend and he really likes Miss Dana too. I think I could have a chance with her but I do like Mr. Brooks. And I have a serious crush back here in Washington so my decision is a little easier.
I think my favorite part was seeing Conner again. I have lots of pictures of him to help me remember him and he lived in a house with toys where I felt like I could rest. He had a big house of balls that I could play in and his mom knew that it would help me sleep if I could listen to some music. I told him a little about Washington and he said he might come visit. I didn't tell him about the plane ride, because I didn't want to discourage him.
