Happy Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day. I needed to sleep in and have a little milk so I sent Dad out early this morning to pick up a few things. He did a good job of picking out a card and he knows Mom's taste in roses better than I do. She was very happy when I gave them to her. I even gave her a kiss. Then Dad and I made her a bagel and told her to get back in bed. (Dad says moms really like breakfast in bed.) I thought that should about do it, but Dad said we needed to get her one more thing. So after church we took her shopping and had her pick out a shirt. I thought that was a little over the top. After all, being my mom has to be the best!
