Luke and Good Times

I'm so tired today and a little sick, but I have a lot of new things to tell my friends about.

Last week was so strange. First Mom and Dad got me up in the middle of the night and we took Dad somewhere. I love night driving and so I thought this trip was the best. But then Dad didn't come back at night. Or the next night. But that night Grammy and Grandpa came and played with me. Then Dad came back and Mom said he was in a place called S. Carolina, at a building he had to locate by finding the Strom Thurmond monument. We played and played and Dad let me stay up real late and then in came Mom with Luke, and Uncle Dave and Aunt Connie. (She says I can call them that since Luke, age 2, decided all on his own that Dad was "Uncle Mike.")

Luke is amazing. I couldn't believe all the trains he had and he thought all my trains and cars were really fun. Mom said he was a good influence on me because he is learning to mind his parents very well and he is very honest when he does something wrong.

Luke and I got to ride in the very back of the car together and like Luke said, "Cars are chasing us." To tell you the truth, we both decided we liked it better back there. There was a lot to see.

We went on a boat, rode a train, and then Luke and his dad and my dad and me went on a thing that went round-n-round and made me very dizzy. But it was so fun too and I had to clap when it was all over.

Luke has gone home now and I'm taking long naps so I can get my energy back again.
