I was five times a bridesmaid before becoming a bride. I well remember shaking at each of those weddings at the very thought of taking those vows and making them mine. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to make that commitment.
But two years ago I did it. I pledged my life for better or for worse. I've found it all better even while circumstances have failed to follow my well laid-out plan. This morning, when I came home from the doctor with yet more medical problems, I asked my husband if he'd known I was going to be so expensive and sickly, would he still do it again? He said, "yes." WOW! What love.
You never know what life will bring but there is no one with whom I would rather be surprised , meet each new challenge, and experience each joy with than my husband. He makes every day better than the one before.

That day was certainly happy in my mind as well... It was such a joy to see two of my closest friends who are truly perfect for each other, stand before God & exchange vows. Here's a toast to MANY more happy years.

Happy anniversary! Actually, I did think of you guys yesterday, remembering you got married the day after Valentines. Congrats to you both! There's nothing better than seeing two people together who are perfect for each other, like you and Mike.
And I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing health issues. I'll pray that you start feeling better!
