I was talking to a friend last week who's son was scheduled for his third surgery on his ears this coming Friday. She told me she had really been impressed that God wanted to heal him without the surgery this time and that several others had been impressed with the same thought as they were praying for him.
I confess. I lacked faith, but I wanted to believe. I remember praying, "Lord, I want to believe. Help my unbelief."
And today the call came. His ears were completely whole and no need for surgery when he went in for his pre-op today. This is pretty amazing for the ongoing condition he has had for quite some time.
I breathed a thank you, not only for the healing, but for a reminder from Him that He does pay attention to our needs and He will move on our behalf. We just need to trust that He will take care of us as HE WILLS and not always as we desire.
