Mom keeps saying "Happy Birthday to Ben! Yay!" and we clap. I got a cool e-card with ducks on it and I laughed and even said "duck" which made Mom really excited.
Yesterday every one at church kept saying "Happy Birthday Ben" and "Thanks for sharing your cake." I kept thinking "what cake?" But then I saw yummy brown stuff on Dad's plate. He wanted to give me some but Mom said, "Uh-uh, no way. No chocolate for Ben." I really don't think that is fair. If it was my cake, I should have some. But Mom keeps telling me that I will feel better because I didn't have any. Ok, Mom, whatever.

Happy birthday, Ben! Once you have your first birthday, the rest come along much more easily. You'll be amazed at how quickly they pile up. We're glad to know you, and hope you have a wonderful second year of life, even though you are just now one year old. (Don't worry if that doesn't make sense. Math is like that sometimes.) =)
Happy Birthday, Ben! They just get better and better. Next time you'll get candles, and candles are the coolest things in the whole world. Also, tell your mom that, instead of a cake, ice cream works great. As long as it has candles in it. -- Stuart.
Happy (belated) birthday Ben!
