For my birthday, some of my favorite people gave me some money for me. They sent nice cards that said things like, "This is for Ben to get something he really wants!" I was so excited. I was ready to get in the car and find a dog to buy. I asked Dad to take me. Instead my parents took me to the store and said, "Ben, you're going to get your very own CD player so you can have music in your room to help you sleep at night." Well, that was a nice idea too. So I leaned toward the electric blue one, and then decided on the groovy purple. And then I heard Mom tell Dad, "He probably would like these colored ones but let's make a quality choice for him and go for the classic grey." Do people listen to me at all?

Sounds like a great purchase, I think you'll enjoy it every day from now till at least your second birthday, if even longer than that. What's your favorite son? - Mrs. Sarah
Oops, I mean "song" not "son."
Mom makes me listen to Michael Card lullabies when I'm in my bed. She says I need to relax and think good, safe thoughts. As for me, my musical tastes are wide. I like the jazz greats, Celine Dion, the Cranberries, U2, Third Day and Mom is worried about this one, but my current favorite song is Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You." (Thanks to dad for introducing me to it.)
