Baby Madison is back visiting us today and Mom caught me trying to hold her hand. It is so little and pretty and well, I decided it was worth holding. Unfortunately Madison rejected my offer of love. Then I had to hear a story. "Oh Ben," Mom said. "You remind me of your Uncle Mark."
Here I would like to insert that telling this story was Mom's idea--because she thinks it is so cute and because she says Uncle Mark needs to get started on his advice to me before I err without it. Anyway, as Mom tells the story, Uncle Mark was about 3 years old when he was discovered in a church meeting for kids with his arms wrapped around a cute little blonde girl named Sarah, giving her smooches. Apparently he was an amorous little Romeo. When she grew up she became a Blazer dancer which Uncle Mark used to like to tell people. Mom said she would prefer I not kiss any Blazer dancers. "Just kiss your mama Ben for the next 25 years or so, ok?" I think I will continue this discussion with Uncle Mark privately some time and see what advice he has for me about mamas.

Actually, we do have a picture of Mark kissing Mandi when he was three years old, but I think he was nearly five when he kissed Sarah...And I'm curious if anyone knows if he kissed anyone since...Both cute little blondes, but then he was, too..
Ben's Grammy AND Uncle Mark's mom
Oh my gosh! I can't believe it but somehow I missed this post! That is too funny!!!
