Current Work Projects

I know you must wonder what I do all day. People occasionally ask my mom "What's Ben up to?" So I thought I would share what I am working on these days.

Probably my most important project is rearranging Mom's kitchen. I am not exactly sure why she wanted it the way it is now but I have some ideas for improvement. Every day I move things around in the cupboards and try to get rid of some stuff all together. Strangely, Mom usually waits until I'm done and then moves it back. But I'm a patient guy and I think she'll probably see the genius in my arrangements soon.

Another big task is trying to keep the place lively. It is just too quiet in the house and I realize that Mom and Dad need a more active environment to keep them awake. So I try to make noise to help them stay alert. I have some great barnyard animals and blocks that make a great noise when tossed on the coffee table or the kitchen floor. So far it seems to be working.

I am also trying to discover how Mom lets the water out of the bathtub so I can stop it when I need to. I watched her and figured out she hit a button but I haven't been able to get the button to move. But I have had some success with slowing down the water by plugging the drain with my washcloth which buys me some time while I work on the drain problem. That reminds me that I should ask Jeremy if he's figured this one out the next time I see him.

I also have to remind Mom to feed me from time-to-time. So you can see that I keep a demanding schedule.

Wow, you're a busy little boy. With Christmas coming up, your parents may try to get you to take a little break from some of your projects, just to relax a little... but don't give in. You might lose your momentum, and with walking coming up, you need to keep up your energy. -- SJ
