from Ben's mom
Two nights ago I had an unusual dream. (Any dream is unusual for me, but that's another story....) I dreamt that a terrorist slipped on board Air Force One and killed the pilots and came in to take out the President. But looking up as he entered the President immediately realized he was a stranger and shot him before any harm came to him. Then, of course, he had to pilot AF1 as no one else was capable. I blame it on reading media reports of President Bush pulling his bodyguard out of a fracas in Chile and having seen Air Force One at some point. However, it is a good reminder to continue to pray for the safety of our President.
And I have to say, I was mighty proud of President Bush for being so John Wayne (to quote my husband) in Chile. I mean, really, can you picture John Kerry doing the same thing? He would have to get U.N. approval first. Reminds me of the DNC staffer who in an interview with my husband referred to Bush as a cowboy. (The editor cut the quote.) Like that was a bad thing? Where have all the cowboys gone? Well, fortunately, we have a good one in the White House.
