I know about Mom's post accusing me of causing her to lose sleep. She and Dad talk about me all the time as if I can't hear them. In fact, I have very good hearing. Mom's isn't so great though. I will be eating my lunch and will say, "I would like a little more please." And I will wait, as patiently as I can. Five minutes later, I try again. (Mom likes to clean the kitchen while I sit in my high chair and eat cheerios.) No luck. Then suddenly she'll say, "Ben would you like a little more fruit?" Duh! She tries to get me to do these hand motions. "More, more," and I just look at her and shake my head. Is it my fault she doesn't hear me?
Anyway, about the sleep. I would like it noted for the record that I slept much better before Mom discovered the Farmer's Market. She discovered Curry in a Hurry, some of the spiciest Indian food I have ever had. Mom, however, seems to like it, despite the fact that it makes me feel a little queasy when she eats it. Then there is the garlic sauce that Mrs. Richmond recommended. I do pretty well with garlic, but please Mom, not that much garlic. I'm encouraging her to stick to the fruits and veggies. But back to the sleep issue. I KNOW that Dad has been known to get up in the night for a snack. I just think I should be able to do the same thing.

You go ... Ben
Grampa
Sorry, Ben. Maybe you'll get used to it before too long and then you can be like my nephew who thought that chopped-up raw garlic was a treat.
Hmmm...let's hope the Curry in a Hurry and garlic sauce recipes show up on Sara's new blog soon.
