From time to time, I will be sharing helpful hints for some of my little friends on various topics.
Today's tip: When your mom tells you that you are too young to play with paints, ask her for sweet potatoes for dinner. She'll say something like: "Ben, sweet potatoes. What a healthy choice!" Then you can take the sweet potatoes (if she won't let you touch the spoon, you can always use your hands and remove them from your mouth for fingerpaints) and smear them all over your tray. They are a lovely orange color. Really smart babies might get their moms to feed them two colors, but eventually they figure it out. My mom's too smart for that, but I still got in some good painting today. Oh, and for you girl babies, it works great for makeup. Sweet potato rouge!
