It is very hot here, so hot in fact that my mom said, "Ben, you can just wear your diaper." What I wanted to hear was "Ben, let's head to the pool." Mom and I have been the past three days and I really like the water. I splash and kick and I think I'm just about ready for Mom to let go. But sometimes when I taste the water, it makes me cough. And the sun keeps getting in my eyes and she knows just how to turn me so it isn't. So I'll stay with her for awhile. But Dad is here today and he doesn't like the water much, so we haven't gone. And it is so hot. I haven't given up yet.
